Soul Drift

Today I discovered something that may be of interest to some of my readers. It’s a radio show called ‘Pigtails & Army Boots’ hosted by a woman called DJ Moonlight. I discovered it through the new Riot Grrrl Online Forum (you should check it out if you’re at all interested in the riot grrrl movement/feminism/DIY – the people on there are very friendly). The show is on for two hours every Sunday at 6pm UK time through Radio Gets Wild & you can also hear it the same day at 9am on Generation Mix. It’s a really great show that plays only female fronted rock/indie/alt music. Regular bands/artists featured on the show include Flyleaf, Kate Bush, Bjork, No Doubt, Tori Amos, Le Tigre, Siouxsie & the Banshees, & a lot more! You can also chat to her & other DJ’s/fans in the Radio Gets Wild Chatroom whilst the show is on, they were all very friendly in the chatroom as well. I definitely recommend that you tune in next week if you’re interested!
